  • Agricultural Exporters Directory 2015 updated, useful tool for greater presence in international markets



    Through Agency Services Marketing and Agricultural Market Development (ASERCA), and in collaboration with the National Agricultural Council (CNA), the directory companies in different agro-export crops, livestock, aquaculture and agro-industrial products was integrated.

     

    The directory has over a thousand Mexican companies and distributed in major international food fairs and the ministries of Mexico abroad.

     

    The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) announced that it is now available the 2015 edition of the Directory of Agricultural Exporters, so that buyers and importers have a direct contact with Mexican agricultural entrepreneurs interested in bringing their products to different international markets.

     

    Through Agency Services Marketing and Agricultural Market Development (ASERCA), and in collaboration with the National Agricultural Council (CNA), the directory companies in different agro-export crops, livestock, aquaculture and agro-industrial products was integrated.

     

    The board has allowed to present to international buyers the variety of regional foods, with the highest standards of quality and safety of Mexico.

    The new edition contains verified information from more than a thousand Mexican companies producing fresh and processed foods.

     

    It contains five main sections according to the type of products: horticultural and vegetables, seafood, meat, processed foods and alcoholic drinks and organic products.

     

    Among the products included in the directory avocado, banana, berries, citrus, grape, mango, asparagus, carrot, cucumber, pepper, tomato zucchini, beef, pork, chicken, honey, coffee, tequila, mezcal and are wines, among others.

     

    This directory will be distributed at major international food fairs where Mexican agribusinesses supported by SAGARPA involved, as well as agricultural ministries of Mexico abroad.

     

    Note that in 2014 agricultural exports (including agricultural and agro-industrial products) of Mexico they exceeded 25 thousand 600 million dollars, and the first quarter of 2015 amounted to nine thousand 606 million dollars, up 6.42 percent at annual rate .
