About CNA

CNA stands for Consejo Nacional Agropecuario, A.C. (CNA), a Mexican national organization of voluntary affiliation born in April 1984 and an important member of the Private Enterprise Coordinating Council (CCE).

ts mission is to represent the interests of private growers, farmers, farming and industrial companies, as well as service providers related to the Mexican agrifood sector; and to promote fair political and economic conditions in order to provide a sustainable and competitive development in a market economy with social responsibility.

Its members comprise companies in many different production branches of the agrifood sector and are located all across Mexico.

The growers and companies affiliated to CNA produce 70% of the agriculture GDP, 85% of livestock GDP, 75% of agri-industrial GDP and 75% of all agrifood exports.

Due to the importance and technical reliability of its major policy proposals and studies, CNA has become a strong negotiator and a well respected opinion leader, being respected and consulted by the Mexican Government Executive and Legislative Powers.
