SAGARPA WILL HAVE A PAVILION AT SUMMER FANCY FOOD SHOW 2015 FOR POSITIONING THE MEXICAN PRODUCTS IN U.S.A.

In 2014, the domestic agricultural companies reported sales of around 10 million dollars.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries and Food (SAGARPA) promotes the participation of 30 Mexican agricultural companies at Summer Fancy Food Show 2015, taking place in June 28th-30th at Jacob Javits Center in New York City, U.S.A.
The outstanding Mexican products are: avocado oil, amaranth bars, chipotle chili, epazote flakes, agave syrup in powder and liquid, mole with different varieties, chia seeds, and tequila liqueurs.
All of them fulfill the current regulations of processed and canned food for sale to the general public, in Mexico as in U.S.A.
Through the Agency of Marketing Services and Development of Agricultural Markets (ASERCA) will attend agribusinesses from Baja California, Chiapas, Coahuila, Distrito Federal, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Sinaloa, Tlaxcala and Veracruz.
In this year is expected the attendance of 17 thousand visitors of department stores, supermarkets, restaurants and other businesses related to food and beverages, with whom, Mexican producers would establish strong trading ties.
This exhibition has a tradition of more than 70 years, it is one of the gourmet food events with a great attendance in the East Coast of U.S.A., 2 thousand 400 exhibitors from 80 countries will attend and exhibit more than 260 thousand food products.
