En 1957 Don Joaquín Barragán estableció la primera huerta de Aguacate Hass en la región de Uruapan México; reconocida hoy como la verdadera “Cuna y Capital Mundial del Aguacate”, no solo por ser la zona donde el aguacate más se produce, sino porque es ahí donde el aguacate alcanza su máximo sabor y calidad.
